FRAKTIONS are delighted to present to you 'KALOS' - a five-track instrumental prog EP on Friday 22nd January 2021. The lead single 'Devotion' will be released on Friday 8th January 2021.  

FRAKTIONS are an instrumental prog trio who fuse elements of modern metal and jazz together, creating a colourful, hypnotic and unique sound. Searching for a new direction after the departure of both guitarists in 2017; Joel, Ross & Will decided to continue as an instrumental piano trio, while staying true to their Progressive Metal roots. 'Kalos' encapsulates an emotional approach to modern progressive music, seeking to engage the listener's heart rather than their head.

Armed with two guitarists at the time, the band built up a discography of progressive metal music between 2015 - 2017, releasing singles ‘Glacier’ and ‘Desolate’ in 2015, EP ‘Anguish’ in 2016 and single ‘Aftermath’ in 2017. During that 2015-2017 period, they enjoyed their best live show experiences, sharing the stage with the likes of Bleed From Within, Skyharbor, Modern Day Babylon, Sithu Aye, The Dali Thundering Concept, Kadinja & Circles, and culminating with a performance at UK Tech Fest 2017.

Despite a long social media hiatus, FRAKTIONS have been working hard putting together material and crafting a fresh, unique sound behind the scenes, and return in 2021 with 'Kalos'.
